Home real estate transactions in San Diego involving properties with rooftop solar electric systems are on the rise and can be complicated for buyers, sellers and agents when dealing with financing issues.

The U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative has awarded the Building Codes Assistance Project (BCAP) and CSE nearly $800,000 over two years to develop solar-related educational materials and training for design professionals, including architects and engineers, in 22 key metropolitan areas across the nation.
