Paradise Valley Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Services, hired CSE to help the hospital lower operating costs and increase resilience to energy disruptions. CSE worked with the acute care hospital to determine the most technically and economically feasible combined heat and power (CHP) system to capture energy that would otherwise be lost while heating and cooling the facility.

In addition, CSE was able to assess the hospital’s opportunity to generate on-site power via a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Incorporating energy efficiency and renewable electricity allows Prime Healthcare to be more resilient while reinvesting energy performance savings into improved patient care.
