When the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority wanted assistance converting shuttles, taxis and vans to alternative fuel vehicles, they turned to CSE. We worked with local governments to determine the appropriate infrastructure needed, conducted outreach to vehicle owners and fleet managers, helped develop a dealer financing offer and administered an incentive program to spur purchases.

Within a little over a year, more than 12 percent of the airport ground transportation fleet made conversions; that number is nearly 100 percent today. The resulting information provided other local governments and fleet managers with guidelines to adopting clean fuel vehicles.
