CSE is a key player in regional planning for the deployment of electric vehicle infrastructure in California with funded projects to help develop comprehensive plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) readiness plans for the San Diego region and San Joaquin Valley.
These plans will address barriers to PEV adoption through best practices and recommendations. A PEV infrastructure working group has been established in each region and tasked with providing coordination and outreach to regional jurisdictions and stakeholders.
In December 2012, CSE published two reports that assessed how prepared jurisdictions are for PEV deployment in the San Diego region and San Joaquin Valley. These reports include recommendations to address policy gaps for accelerated PEV adoption.
