
The Virtual Net Metering (VNEM) is offered in California three large Investor Owned Utility (IOU) service territories: San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas & Electric.
The VNEM program includes two sub-tariffs, one designed for the affordable-housing sector and one designed for the general-market sector.
All three IOUs are currently operating under the NEM successor tariff ("NEM-ST" or "NEM 2.0") rules.
