Cody is the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of San Diego, the 8th largest U.S. city. She coordinates sustainability planning and policy, with emphasis on economic development. She is exploring how technology, renewable energy, transportation, green buildings, and climate resilience are included in San Diego’s approach to sustainable communities. Her role also includes engaging businesses in win-win solutions for sustainability and leading the city's move towards 100% renewable energy. Cody is the founding member and current Chair of the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative.
