San Diego Gas & Electric’s Technology Incentives Program offers technology incentives to nonresidential customers to cover up to 75% of the purchase and installation costs of Auto-DR equipment.
Eligibility Requirements
INCENTIVE PAYMENT
Currently, SDG&E only offers a customized Technology Incentives Program. Eligible customers can receive up to $200 per kilowatt (kW) of verified load reduction up to 75% of the total project cost.
Incentive Payment: Participants receive 60 percent of the total program incentive after successful on-site verification of equipment installation and testing.
Performance Payment: After 12 months, facilities are eligible to receive up to 40 percent of their remaining program incentive based on performance during DR events in the first year.
DEMAND RESPONSE (DR) PROGRAMS
To qualify for technology incentives, Auto-DR customers agree to enroll in an eligible SDG&E Demand Response (DR) Program and to participate in DR events called by SDG&E for at least 36 months.
