SCE offers express and customized technology incentives to nonresidential customers to cover up to 100% of the purchase and installation costs of Auto-DR equipment.
Technology Incentive Programs
Express
SCE'S Auto-DR Express Technology Incentive Program offers financial rewards to small and medium business customers. EXPRESS customers receive 100 percent of the Auto-DR incentive after successful on-site verification of equipment installation and testing.
Eligibility Requirements
Customized
SCE’s Auto-DR Customized Technology Incentive Program is for large commercial, agricultural and industrial customers. A program verification engineer will assess your facility’s total load reduction capability using interval meter data and compare this with an established baseline.
Incentive Payment: Participants receive 60 percent of the total program incentive after successful on-site verification of equipment installation and testing.
Performance Payment: After 12 months, participating facilities are eligible to receive up to 40 percent of their remaining program incentive based on performance during DR events in the first year.
Demand Response Programs
To qualify for technology incentives, Auto-DR customers agree to enroll in an eligible SCE demand response (DR) program and participate in DR events called by SCE for at least 36 consecutive months.
SCE offers five DR programs that are eligible in combination with Auto-DR. Most customers choose to enroll in the Critical Peak Pricing or the Capacity Bidding Program (with a third-party aggregator). SCE also offers the option of dual participation, giving customers the opportunity to enroll in two demand response programs, receiving the benefits of both programs.
