CUSTOMIZED TECHNOLOGY INCENTIVES

The Customized Technology Incentive Program offers technology incentives to large commercial, agricultural and industrial customers that cover up to 75% of the purchase and installation costs of Auto-DR equipment. A program verification engineer will assess your facility’s total load reduction capability using interval meter data and compare this result with an established baseline.

Incentive Payment: Participants receive 60 percent of the total program incentive after successful on-site verification of equipment installation and testing.

Performance Payment: After 12 months, participating facilities are eligible to receive up to 40 percent of their remaining program incentive based on performance during DR events in the first year.

DEMAND RESPONSE PROGRAMS

To qualify for FastTrack or Customized technology incentives, Auto-DR customers agree to enroll in an eligible PG&E Demand Response (DR) Program and to participate in DR events called by PG&E for at least 36 consecutive months.

PG&E offers five DR programs that are eligible to receive technology incentives in combination with Auto-DR. Most customers choose to enroll in the Peak Day Pricing Plan or enroll with a third-party aggregator to join the Capacity Bidding Program. PG&E also offers the option of dual participation, giving customers the opportunity to enroll in two demand response programs, receiving the benefits of both programs.
