Center for Sustainable Energy

Almost every business uses hot water daily – from hand sinks and showers to high-volume commercial dishwashers, laundries, industrial processes or swimming pools. By adding a solar thermal system, a business can displace most of the natural gas or electricity currently used for such purposes and take a valuable next step toward reducing utility costs and achieving more sustainable operations.

During this webinar, Sarah Smith of the Center for Sustainable Energy discussed solar water heating benefits for commercial and multifamily property owners. As a highlight, Pete Ceccherini of RG Investment Real Estate Services Inc. shared his company’s experience installing a solar thermal system on an apartment complex in San Diego.
